Hpa-An District Karen Youth Organization (KYO) Held Annual Meeting and Youth Conference

The event was organized by the Hpa-An District Karen Youth Organization (KYO) and attended by various leaders including Colonel Saw Maung Kyi from the KNPF in Hpa-An District, Hpa-An District’s Organizing Department Head Padoh Naw Say Wah, as well as leaders from Ta Kreh (Paing Kyon) Township, Hti Lon Township, Lu Pleh (Hlaing Bwe) Township, Central KYO, T'Nay Hsah (Na Bu) Township Karen Women Organization (KWO), KYO from T'Nay Hsah and Doo Yaw Townships, and KYO from Mae La [Refugee] Camp, among others.

During the meeting, the leaders motivated the youth to overcome their current challenges. They also delivered presentations on leadership, governance, administration, and the core principles of the KNU and KYO constitution.

Additionally, the youth and leaders discussed ways to overcome obstacles and formulated specific action plans for the future. The event concluded with the singing of the Karen National Anthem.
