Successful Completion of Women’s Capacity Building Training Conducted by the Karen Women Organization (KWO)

Led by the Karen Women Organization (KWO), a week-long women's capacity building training took place in Kler Lwee Htu District, Kawthoolei, from May 29 to June 2, 2023. The training, facilitated by seven leaders from the KWO of Kler Lwee Htu District, saw the participation of 30 women from Moo, Ler Doh, and Saw Hti townships.

The training aims to enhance the leadership capabilities of the KWO across all levels, foster collaboration at diverse tiers, and fortify the implementation of the rule of law within their respective regions.

The course covers a range of topics, including the organizational structure of the KWO, Rule of Law, Women and Protection, Human Rights, Women's Rights, Child’s Rights, Women and Leadership, Maternal and Child Health, Drug Act, and Witchcraft Act.
