The Kawthoolei Forestry Department (KFD) Conducts Training of Trainers on Community Watershed Management
A total of 20 participants, including representatives from Kler Lwee Htu, Mutraw, and Taw Oo Districts, as well as the Central Office of the Kawthoolei Forestry Department (KFD), attended a 10-day Training of Trainers (TOT) program on community watershed management planning.
The training, organized by the KNU-Kawthoolei Forestry Department, aimed to strengthen community-led watershed management, ensure long-term access to quality water sources, and promote the sustainable use and protection of natural resources.
Through participatory approaches and practical learning, the program sought to build local capacity to develop and implement effective watershed management plans that align with both environmental conservation and community needs.
