The Department of Livestock and Fishery was established in order to protect animals and eliminate poverty for locals whose living depends on livestock and fishery. Under the supervision of the department, trainings in both livestock breeding and veterinary are conducted. The department also raises awareness regarding the protection of endangered animals. By monitoring and managing the rivers, canals and irrigation, it contributes to the protection of animals and fishery. The department surveys and records mega project that have negative impact on the natural environment and resources.
